2025-2026 Season

The Knights Hockey Club Awards Program recognizes individuals and players who demonstrate outstanding dedication, leadership, sportsmanship, and volunteer service within our organization. We invite our community to take a moment to recognize those who positively impact our club and consistently represent the values of Knights Hockey Club on and off the ice. Award Details

Volunteer of the Year Award (1 Award)

 

This award recognizes an individual who has made outstanding contributions to the Knights Hockey Club.

Nominees demonstrate exceptional commitment, dedication, and service to KHC and the game of hockey.

Submissions must include a brief description outlining the individual’s efforts and contributions throughout their involvement with KHC.

Coach of the Year Award

(1 Overall Award for Hockey Calgary Submission & 1 Award per Age Group)

 

Presented annually to a coach who has made an outstanding contribution to community hockey during the current season.

The recipient provides a fun, safe, and positive learning environment for players and demonstrates dedication, respect, and fair play while making a meaningful contribution to the community through their team.

Manager of the Year Award (1 Award)

 

Presented to a team manager who consistently goes above and beyond expected responsibilities.

The recipient supports and enhances the overall mission of Knights Hockey Club, inspires volunteerism within the organization and the broader community, and brings positive energy, leadership, and optimism to their role.

President’s Award (1 Award)

 

This award is presented by the Knight’s Hockey Club President to a Knights Hockey Club member who has demonstrated exceptional dedication through significant volunteer service.

The recipient has a positive impact on the KHC community, promotes respect for players, coaches, officials, opponents, and parents, and represents Knights Hockey Club with integrity as a positive public ambassador.

Knights of Honour Award (1 Award)

 

This award recognizes a player who exemplifies outstanding leadership and sportsmanship both on and off the ice.

Staff from all U9–U18 teams are invited to nominate one player who best represents the values of sportsmanship, dedication, and teamwork.

This award celebrates the exceptional character and leadership within our club.

Knights of Distinction Award

 

(2 Bursaries of $750 Each – Awarded to Graduating U18 Players)

The Knights of Distinction Award recognizes graduating U18 players who demonstrate excellence academically and through meaningful community involvement beyond the classroom.

This award celebrates well-rounded individuals who reflect the values of Knights Hockey Club on and off the ice.
