U5 - Squires Program

16 x 1-Hour Sessions Per Season
Fees: $520 per player

• Players must be 4 years of age as of December 31st (Birth year 2021).
• This program is a non competative introduction to hockey.  No previous hockey experience necessary.
• Participants must be able to get up on their own without assistance, and should be able to "shuffle" across the ice without assistance prior to registering for the program.
• This structured program teaches basic introduction to hockey through development drills from Phase 1 of Hockey Canada's Initiation Program Manual
• Non-competitive fun activities are also incorporated to further development the skills that are learned
  • Instruction from Certified Lead Instructors (1:10 Ratio)
  • Squires Uniform (jersey and socks)
  • Group formation of 10-12 players
  • Cross-Ice Hockey setups for efficient use of ice
  • All sessions to be held on prime-time weekend ice slots
